The (FEP) program was initiated to empower mothers, child guardians (primarily widowed), aunties and grandmothers by assisting them with knowledge, skills trainings and income generating projects in order to transform their lives within the communities in which they live. Below, are the sub-projects that are to operate, Employment opportunities for example, weaving, sewing, crocheting, farming. Under this project, we provide resources, materials, machines and work-tools to these mothers so they can produce the best art crafts, sell them off and save for the future of their families.

Savings and investment which we refer to as, SACCO. These are small saving groups, where mothers come together in numbers to save for the future of their families. Many of these families, depend of these savings to clear their bills, pay school fees for their children and also provide basic needs for their families. NB: The money saved is always kept in banks for safety and also distributed to the members of the Sacco at a specific period of time and according to the Sacco’s constitution.

Entrepreneurial activities, like baking trainings, hairstyling, Makeup classes, Tailoring trainings. In this project, a lot is required for the classes and trainings to go on, the step ups are always so far different and unique, and these skills are given to mothers that have at least qualified a certificate of education at O’level or A’level. It’s a practical way of what they had in their theory classes. They are also additional skills to earn them a living.

Leadership, under this project or life-skill program, we urge mothers to participate in day-to-day elections and positions in different offices of the both the central government and local government so, that their voices can be heard. We provide for them the resources and funds required to achieve the purpose they need to achieve so they can survive. This as well promotes Gender in their communities. Mothers deserve to be leaders, not just inferiors in homes but also superiors in communities.

In conclusion, the major course of investing in mothers or women as well these days, has created the most significant and far-reaching impact, and it’s the reason why we are now centering our efforts on this program to support rural development and job creation. Sustainable development. This is a very known and broad program, almost everywhere, “sustainability” is a melody that catches everyone’s attention. And yes, every community deserves it. Under this program, it carries its own projects that lead to the main course of it all,
